Lajos and his wife really make you feel like at home. we spent 4 days there with our 3 dogs. we will miss their hospitality!

Good to have a restaurent as there isn't any near by. Especially on the weekends.

We had stayed and extended our stay at this panzio. The onwers were so accomodating and helped us get anything we needed. The place was spotless, very tasteful, comfortable, very nice bedding and bed, full equipt kitchen, awesome breakfast and lots of it. We had working sport dogs with us and nothing was a bother to the owners. We are very happy with the Mendei Vendeghaz and reccomand it to anyone. Great restaurants near by, lovely neighbourhood.

Very good location, just across from the Parliament (but on Buda side). There's an ABC shop, a SPAR supermarket, a lot of Restaurants and a Metro station (one stop to the Parliament and two to Deak Ter, close to the Basilica), just 1-3 minutes away from the appartment. Also the Chain Bridge (Lanchid) is just 5 minutes away by walk and you can get very easy to the Castle and Fisherman Bastion. Parking is free on Fo utca and it's also pretty secure (there's a government building in front and it's constantly supervised). The owner is also very friendly and willing to help at any time.

During our stay Fo utca was pretty crowded and it was a little bit noisy, but that was just before Easter, so it's generally a very crowded period of the year, so this might be not relevant... Also you should take into account that the kitchen and bed are both in the same room - in case you want to cook any complicated stuff, this could be a disadvantage. Otherwise, for a tourist who spends most of the day (or night) in town for visits and party, it's a very good accommodation, both in terms of location and price.

Attendants were very-very nice. The room was clean, small but comfortable. The surroundings are very fine. The Nadix is close to the University nd the center of the town is within walking range, too.

I did not like the floor tiles, because my feet got cold, and the garbage can was too small.
