Mátra Tábor Sástó

Sástó is located in the heart of Mátra in the high of 530 m, in a beautiful environment halway between Mátraháza and Mátrafüred. This is on the most highest lying natural lake of the country. The 50 m high look-out tower was getting to here from Algyő as an oil rig. From the lookout is possible to see the Buda mountain range in clear weather, the south slopes of the Mátra, and the lake which is located straight at the foot of the tower, they give an unforgettable view to the visitors who are mounting to the top of the lookout.

The fishing, boating on the lake, the feeding of the wild ducks are picnic for children and for adults.

Every year we give the place for cultural and musicial festivals. In spring we organize for children and for school groups forest school programmes, in autumn we organize camp for the nem students, in summer families can spend here their holiday in chalet, with tent or with caravan.

We are waiting our guests with a lot of games, excellent recreation in the Adrenalin Park, where we offer for the spending of the free time munerous opportunites beside the winter-summer bob-track for example: adventure park, canopy, suspension bridge, eurobungy, climbing wall, quad course etc.
